Mutual Fund Onboarding — Start Your Investment Journey

Onboarding is fully digital and documentation-first — six clear steps from first contact to your first investment.

The onboarding steps

Six steps, all on record

Each step produces a document you can see and keep — nothing moves forward on verbal assurance alone.

1

KYC

We verify your KYC status (or complete fresh KYC) — PAN, address and bank details as required by regulation.

2

DPDP Consent

You give explicit, informed consent for how your personal data is collected and used, in line with the DPDP Act, 2023.

3

Risk Profile

You complete the 10-question risk profile assessment, and receive a written risk profile report.

4

Goal Discussion

A conversation to define your goals, timelines and target amounts — the basis for all suitability decisions.

5

Documented Consents

Key documents — consent, risk profile and suitability records — are put in writing and acknowledged by you before investing.

6

First Investment

Your first SIP or lumpsum is executed, with confirmations shared and a review rhythm agreed upon.

Begin here

Start With Your Risk Profile

Your journey begins with a short 10-question risk profile assessment — about 3 minutes, no documents needed. Once you share your response code with us, we will reach out within one working day to schedule your goal discussion and complete the remaining steps together.

KYC documents, DPDP consent, and the formal risk profile report are completed after your first conversation with us. Nothing is needed upfront except the assessment above.

📄 Already investing elsewhere? Keep your CAS handy

If you hold mutual fund investments made directly or through another distributor, your Consolidated Account Statement (CAS) is the single document that lists all of them. Having it ready lets us review your existing holdings for suitability against your risk profile — before any new recommendation is made.

Request your CAS free of charge from the official RTA services (delivered to your registered email):

CAMS — CAS Request → MF Central (CAMS + KFintech) →

Both links open the RTAs' official websites in a new tab. The CAS is emailed only to your own registered email ID — INVININD WEALTH (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED never receives it unless you choose to share it with us. Never share OTPs or statement passwords with anyone.
